Scott and Connie pursue a new course. Go now, go cheap. So we shed our belongings, simplified our lives, saved up a little money, and started learning Spanish. After four years cruising Mexico we decided to bring Traveler to the Pacific Northwest. We crossed the mighty Pacific to Hawaii first. Then after cruising Hawaii we crossed over to Alaska, then south to the Salish sea.
When such moments arise one must not be timid. Seize it, run with it, put it in your pocket. In spring 2010 Connie and Scott realized that there is nothing whatsoever holding them back from escaping current situations and jumping off a cliff together. The plan was hatched after a week long bareboat charter out of La Paz Mexico. They'd disperse with their belongings, settle their debts, find a sailboat, and head out of the Salish Sea turning left at the entrance to the Strait of Juan De Fuca bound for ports south.
